वात आ वातु भेषजं शम्भु मयोभु नो हृदे। प्र ण आयूंषि तारिषत्॥

Transliteration

vāta ā vātu bheṣajaṁ śambhu mayobhu no hṛde | pra ṇa āyūṁṣi tāriṣat ||

Translation

FILLING our hearts with health and joy, may Vata breathe his balm on us May he prolong our days of life.

उत वात पितासि न उत भ्रातोत नः सखा। स नो जीवातवे कृधि॥

Transliteration

uta vāta pitāsi na uta bhrātota naḥ sakhā | sa no jīvātave kṛdhi ||

Translation

Thou art our Father, Vata, yea, thou art a Brother and a friend, So give us strength that we may live.

यददो वात ते गृहेऽमृतस्य निधिर्हितः। ततो नो देहि जीवसे॥

Transliteration

yadado vāta te gṛhe'mṛtasya nidhirhitaḥ | tato no dehi jīvase ||

Translation

The store of Amrta laid away yonder, O Vata, in thine home,- Give us thereof that we may live.
