वायो शुक्रो अयामि ते मध्वो अग्रं दिविष्टिषु। आ याहि सोमपीतये स्पार्हो देव नियुत्वता॥

Transliteration

vāyo śukro ayāmi te madhvo agraṁ diviṣṭiṣu | ā yāhi somapītaye spārho deva niyutvatā ||

Translation

Vayu, the bright is offered thee, best of the meath at holy rites. Come thou to drink the Soma juice, God, longed-for, on thy team-drawn car.

इन्द्रश्च वायवेषां सोमानां पीतिमर्हथः। युवां हि यन्तीन्दवो निम्नमापो न सध्र्यक्॥

Transliteration

indraśca vāyaveṣāṁ somānāṁ pītimarhathaḥ | yuvāṁ hi yantīndavo nimnamāpo na sadhryak ||

Translation

O Vayu, thou and Indra are meet drinkers of these Soma-draughts, For unto you the drops proceed as waters gather to the vale.

वायविन्द्रश्च शुष्मिणा सरथं शवसस्पती। नियुत्वन्ता न ऊतय आ यातं सोमपीतये॥

Transliteration

vāyavindraśca śuṣmiṇā sarathaṁ śavasaspatī | niyutvantā na ūtaya ā yātaṁ somapītaye ||

Translation

O Indra-Vayu, mighty Twain, speeding together, Lords of Strength, Come to our succour with your team, that ye may drink the Soma juice.

या वां सन्ति पुरुस्पृहो नियुतो दाशुषे नरा। अस्मे ता यज्ञवाहसेन्द्रवायू नि यच्छतम्॥

Transliteration

yā vāṁ santi puruspṛho niyuto dāśuṣe narā | asme tā yajñavāhasendravāyū ni yacchatam ||

Translation

The longed-for teams which ye possess, O Heroes, for the worshipper, Turn to us, Indra-Vayu, ye to whom the sacrifice is paid.
