विहि होत्रा अवीता विपो न रायो अर्यः। वायवा चन्द्रेण रथेन याहि सुतस्य पीतये॥

Transliteration

vihi hotrā avītā vipo na rāyo aryaḥ | vāyavā candreṇa rathena yāhi sutasya pītaye ||

Translation

TASTE offerings never tasted yet, as bards enjoy the foeman's wealth. O Vayu, on refulgent car come to the drinking of the juice.

निर्युवाणो अशस्तीर्नियुत्वाँ इन्द्रसारथिः। वायवा चन्द्रेण रथेन याहि सुतस्य पीतये॥

Transliteration

niryuvāṇo aśastīrniyutvā indrasārathiḥ | vāyavā candreṇa rathena yāhi sutasya pītaye ||

Translation

Removing curses, drawn by teams, with 1ndra, seated by thy side, O Vayu, on refulgent car come to the drinking of the juice.

Transliteration

anu kṛṣṇe vasudhitī yemāte viśvapeśasā | vāyavā candreṇa rathena yāhi sutasya pītaye ||

Translation

The two dark treasuries of wealth that wear all beauties wait on thee. O Vayu, on refulgent car come to the drinking of the juice.

Transliteration

vahantu tvā manoyujo yuktāso navatirnava | vāyavā candreṇa rathena yāhi sutasya pītaye ||

Translation

May nine-and-ninety harnessed steeds who yoke them at thy will bring thee. O Vayu, on refulgent car come to the drinking of the juice.

वायो शतं हरीणां युवस्व पोष्याणाम्। उत वा ते सहस्रिणो रथ आ यातु पाजसा॥

Transliteration

vāyo śataṁ harīṇāṁ yuvasva poṣyāṇām | uta vā te sahasriṇo ratha ā yātu pājasā ||

Translation

Harness, O Vayu, to thy car a hundred well-fed tawny steeds, Yea, or a thousand steeds, and let thy chariot come to us with might.
