ऋभुर्विभ्वा वाज इन्द्रो नो अच्छेमं यज्ञं रत्नधेयोप यात। इदा हि वो धिषणा देव्यह्नामधात्पीतिं सं मदा अग्मता वः॥

Transliteration

ṛbhurvibhvā vāja indro no acchemaṁ yajñaṁ ratnadheyopa yāta | idā hi vo dhiṣaṇā devyahnāmadhātpītiṁ saṁ madā agmatā vaḥ ||

Translation

To this our sacrifice come Rbhu, Vibhvan, Vaja, and Indra with the gift of riches, Because this day hath Dhisana the Goddess set drink for you: the gladdening draughts have reached you.

विदानासो जन्मनो वाजरत्ना उत ऋतुभिरृभवो मादयध्वम्। सं वो मदा अग्मत सं पुरंधिः सुवीरामस्मे रयिमेरयध्वम्॥

Transliteration

vidānāso janmano vājaratnā uta ṛtubhirṛbhavo mādayadhvam | saṁ vo madā agmata saṁ puraṁdhiḥ suvīrāmasme rayimerayadhvam ||

Translation

Knowing your birth and rich in gathered treasure, Rbhus, rejoice together with the Rtus. The gladdening draughts and wisdom have approached you: send ye us riches with good store of heroes.

अयं वो यज्ञ ऋभवोऽकारि यमा मनुष्वत्प्रदिवो दधिध्वे। प्र वोऽच्छा जुजुषाणासो अस्थुरभूत विश्वे अग्रियोत वाजाः॥

Transliteration

ayaṁ vo yajña ṛbhavo'kāri yamā manuṣvatpradivo dadhidhve | pra vo'cchā jujuṣāṇāso asthurabhūta viśve agriyota vājāḥ ||

Translation

For you was made this sacrifice, O Rbhus, which ye, like men, won for yourselves aforetime. To you come all who find in you their pleasure: ye all were-even the two elder-Vajas.

अभूदु वो विधते रत्नधेयमिदा नरो दाशुषे मर्त्याय। पिबत वाजा ऋभवो ददे वो महि तृतीयं सवनं मदाय॥

Transliteration

abhūdu vo vidhate ratnadheyamidā naro dāśuṣe martyāya | pibata vājā ṛbhavo dade vo mahi tṛtīyaṁ savanaṁ madāya ||

Translation

Now for the mortal worshipper, O Heroes, for him who served you, was the gift of riches. Drink, Vajas, Rbhus! unto you is offered, to gladden you, the third and great libation.

आ वाजा यातोप न ऋभुक्षा महो नरो द्रविणसो गृणानाः। आ वः पीतयोऽभिपित्वे अह्नामिमा अस्तं नवस्व इव ग्मन्॥

Transliteration

ā vājā yātopa na ṛbhukṣā maho naro draviṇaso gṛṇānāḥ | ā vaḥ pītayo'bhipitve ahnāmimā astaṁ navasva iva gman ||

Translation

Come to us, Heroes, Vajas and Rbhuksans, glorified for the sake of mighty treasure. These draughts approach you as the day is closing, as cows, whose calves are newly-born, their stable.

आ नपातः शवसो यातनोपेमं यज्ञं नमसा हूयमानाः। सजोषसः सूरयो यस्य च स्थ मध्वः पात रत्नधा इन्द्रवन्तः॥

Transliteration

ā napātaḥ śavaso yātanopemaṁ yajñaṁ namasā hūyamānāḥ | sajoṣasaḥ sūrayo yasya ca stha madhvaḥ pāta ratnadhā indravantaḥ ||

Translation

Come to this sacrifice of ours, ye Children of Strength, invoked with humble adoration. Drink of this meath, Wealth-givers, joined with Indra with whom ye are in full accord, ye Princes.

सजोषा इन्द्र वरुणेन सोमं सजोषाः पाहि गिर्वणो मरुद्भिः। अग्रेपाभिरृतुपाभिः सजोषा ग्नास्पत्नीभी रत्नधाभिः सजोषाः॥

Transliteration

sajoṣā indra varuṇena somaṁ sajoṣāḥ pāhi girvaṇo marudbhiḥ | agrepābhirṛtupābhiḥ sajoṣā gnāspatnībhī ratnadhābhiḥ sajoṣāḥ ||

Translation

Close knit with Varuna drink the Soma, Indra; close-knit, ilymn-lover! with the Maruts drink it: Close-knit with drinkers first, who drink in season; close-knit with heavenly Dames who give us treasures.

सजोषस आदित्यैर्मादयध्वं सजोषस ऋभवः पर्वतेभिः। सजोषसो दैव्येना सवित्रा सजोषसः सिन्धुभी रत्नधेभिः॥

Transliteration

sajoṣasa ādityairmādayadhvaṁ sajoṣasa ṛbhavaḥ parvatebhiḥ | sajoṣaso daivyenā savitrā sajoṣasaḥ sindhubhī ratnadhebhiḥ ||

Translation

Rejoice in full accord with the Adityas, in concord with the Parvatas, O Rbhus; In full accord with Savitar, Divine One; in full accord with floods that pour forth riches.

Transliteration

ye aśvinā ye pitarā ya ūtī dhenuṁ tatakṣurṛbhavo ye aśvā | ye aṁsatrā ya ṛdhagrodasī ye vibhvo naraḥ svapatyāni cakruḥ ||

Translation

Rbhus, who helped their Parents and the Asvins, who formed the Milch-cow and the pair of horses, Made armour, set the heaven and earth asunder,-far- reaching Heroes, they have made good offspring.

ये गोमन्तं वाजवन्तं सुवीरं रयिं धत्थ वसुमन्तं पुरुक्षुम्। ते अग्रेपा ऋभवो मन्दसाना अस्मे धत्त ये च रातिं गृणन्ति॥

Transliteration

ye gomantaṁ vājavantaṁ suvīraṁ rayiṁ dhattha vasumantaṁ purukṣum | te agrepā ṛbhavo mandasānā asme dhatta ye ca rātiṁ gṛṇanti ||

Translation

Ye who have wealth in cattle and in booty, in heroes, in rich sustenance and treasure, Such, O ye Rbhus, first to drink, rejoicing, give unto us and those who laud our present.

नापाभूत न वोऽतीतृषामानिःशस्ता ऋभवो यज्ञे अस्मिन्। समिन्द्रेण मदथ सं मरुद्भिः सं राजभी रत्नधेयाय देवाः॥

Transliteration

nāpābhūta na vo'tītṛṣāmāniḥśastā ṛbhavo yajñe asmin | samindreṇa madatha saṁ marudbhiḥ saṁ rājabhī ratnadheyāya devāḥ ||

Translation

Ye were not far: we have not left you thirsting, blameless in this our sacrifice, O Rbhus. Rejoice you with the Maruts and with Indra, with the Kings, Gods! that ye may give us riches.
