उत्तिष्ठताव पश्यतेन्द्रस्य भागमृत्वियम्। यदि श्रातो जुहोतन यद्यश्रातो ममत्तन॥

Transliteration

uttiṣṭhatāva paśyatendrasya bhāgamṛtviyam | yadi śrāto juhotana yadyaśrāto mamattana ||

Translation

Now lift ye up yourselves and look on Indra's seasonable share. If it be ready, offer it; unready, ye have been remise.

श्रातं हविरो ष्विन्द्र प्र याहि जगाम सूरो अध्वनो विमध्यम्। परि त्वासते निधिभिः सखायः कुलपा न व्राजपतिं चरन्तम्॥

Transliteration

śrātaṁ haviro ṣvindra pra yāhi jagāma sūro adhvano vimadhyam | pari tvāsate nidhibhiḥ sakhāyaḥ kulapā na vrājapatiṁ carantam ||

Translation

Oblation is prepared: come to us, Indra; the Sun hath travelled over half his journey. Friends with their stores are sitting round thee waiting like lords of clans for the tribe's wandering chieftain.

श्रातं मन्य ऊधनि श्रातमग्नौ सुश्रातं मन्ये तदृतं नवीयः। माध्यंदिनस्य सवनस्य दध्नः पिबेन्द्र वज्रिन्पुरुकृज्जुषाणः॥

Transliteration

śrātaṁ manya ūdhani śrātamagnau suśrātaṁ manye tadṛtaṁ navīyaḥ | mādhyaṁdinasya savanasya dadhnaḥ pibendra vajrinpurukṛjjuṣāṇaḥ ||

Translation

Dressed in the udder and on fire, I fancy; well-dressed, I fancy, is this recent present. Drink, Indra, of the curd of noon's libation with favour, Thunderer, thou whose deeds are mighty.
