प्र सुवानो धारया तनेन्दुर्हिन्वानो अर्षति। रुजद्दृळ्हा व्योजसा॥

Transliteration

pra suvāno dhārayā tanendurhinvāno arṣati | rujaddṛḻhā vyojasā ||

Translation

THE drop of Soma juice effused flows onward with this stream impelled. Rending strong places with its might.

सुत इन्द्राय वायवे वरुणाय मरुद्भ्यः। सोमो अर्षति विष्णवे॥

Transliteration

suta indrāya vāyave varuṇāya marudbhyaḥ | somo arṣati viṣṇave ||

Translation

Poured forth to Indra, Varuna, to Vayu and the Marut hosts, To Visnu, flows the Soma juice.

वृषाणं वृषभिर्यतं सुन्वन्ति सोममद्रिभिः। दुहन्ति शक्मना पयः॥

Transliteration

vṛṣāṇaṁ vṛṣabhiryataṁ sunvanti somamadribhiḥ | duhanti śakmanā payaḥ ||

Translation

With stones they press the Soma forth, the Strong conducted by the strong: They milk the liquor out with skill.

भुवत्त्रितस्य मर्ज्यो भुवदिन्द्राय मत्सरः। सं रूपैरज्यते हरिः॥

Transliteration

bhuvattritasya marjyo bhuvadindrāya matsaraḥ | saṁ rūpairajyate hariḥ ||

Translation

'Tis he whom Trita must refine, 'tis he who shall make Indra glad: The Tawny One is decked with tints.

Transliteration

abhīmṛtasya viṣṭapaṁ duhate pṛśnimātaraḥ | cāru priyatamaṁ haviḥ ||

Translation

Him do the Sons of Prsni milk, the dwelling-place of sacrifice, Oblation lovely and most dear.

Transliteration

samenamahrutā imā giro arṣanti sasrutaḥ | dhenūrvāśro avīvaśat ||

Translation

To him in one unitcd stream th-,se songs flow on straight forward. he, Loud voiced, hath made the milch-kine low.
