पवस्व दक्षसाधनो देवेभ्यः पीतये हरे। मरुद्भ्यो वायवे मदः॥

Transliteration

pavasva dakṣasādhano devebhyaḥ pītaye hare | marudbhyo vāyave madaḥ ||

Translation

GREEN-HUED! as one who giveth strength flow on for Gods to drink, a draught For Vayu and the Marut host.

पवमान धिया हितोऽभि योनिं कनिक्रदत्। धर्मणा वायुमा विश॥

Transliteration

pavamāna dhiyā hito'bhi yoniṁ kanikradat | dharmaṇā vāyumā viśa ||

Translation

O Pavamana, sent by song, roaring about thy dwelling-place, Pass into Vayu as Law bids.

सं देवैः शोभते वृषा कविर्योनावधि प्रियः। वृत्रहा देववीतमः॥

Transliteration

saṁ devaiḥ śobhate vṛṣā kaviryonāvadhi priyaḥ | vṛtrahā devavītamaḥ ||

Translation

The Steer shines with the Deities, dear Sage in his appointed home, Foe-Slayer, most beloved by Gods.

Transliteration

viśvā rūpāṇyāviśanpunāno yāti haryataḥ | yatrāmṛtāsa āsate ||

Translation

Taking each beauteous form, he goes, desirable, while purified, Thither where- the Immortals sit.

aruṣo janayangiraḥ somaḥ pavata āyuṣak | indraṁ gacchankavikratuḥ ||

Translation

To Indra Soma flows, the Red, engendering song, exceeding wise, The visitor of living men.

Flow, best exhilarator, Sage, flow to the filter in a stream To seat thee in the place of song.
