तत्सवितुर्वृणीमहे वयं देवस्य भोजनम्। श्रेष्ठं सर्वधातमं तुरं भगस्य धीमहि॥
Transliterationtatsaviturvṛṇīmahe vayaṁ devasya bhojanam | śreṣṭhaṁ sarvadhātamaṁ turaṁ bhagasya dhīmahi ||
TranslationWE crave of Savitar the God this treasure much to be enjoyed. The best, all-yielding, conquering gift of Bhaga we would gladly win.

Transliterationasya hi svayaśastaraṁ savituḥ kaccana priyam | na minanti svarājyam ||
TranslationSavitar's own supremacy, most glorious and beloved of all, No one diminisheth in aught.

TranslationFor Savitar who is Bhaga shall send riches to his worshipper. That wondrous portion we implore.

TranslationSend us this day, God Savitar, prosperity with progeny. Drive thou the evil dream away.
