उरोष्ट इन्द्र राधसो विभ्वी रातिः शतक्रतो। अधा नो विश्वचर्षणे द्युम्ना सुक्षत्र मंहय॥

Transliteration

uroṣṭa indra rādhaso vibhvī rātiḥ śatakrato | adhā no viśvacarṣaṇe dyumnā sukṣatra maṁhaya ||

Translation

WIDE, Indra Satakratu, spreads the bounty of thine ample grace: So, Lord of fair dominion, Friend of all men, give us splendid wealth.

यदीमिन्द्र श्रवाय्यमिषं शविष्ठ दधिषे। पप्रथे दीर्घश्रुत्तमं हिरण्यवर्ण दुष्टरम्॥

Transliteration

yadīmindra śravāyyamiṣaṁ śaviṣṭha dadhiṣe | paprathe dīrghaśruttamaṁ hiraṇyavarṇa duṣṭaram ||

Translation

The food which, Mightiest Indra, thou possessest worthy of renown Is bruited as most widely famed, invincible, O Golden-hued!

शुष्मासो ये ते अद्रिवो मेहना केतसापः। उभा देवावभिष्टये दिवश्च ग्मश्च राजथः॥

Transliteration

śuṣmāso ye te adrivo mehanā ketasāpaḥ | ubhā devāvabhiṣṭaye divaśca gmaśca rājathaḥ ||

Translation

O Darter of the Stone, the powers which readily obey thy will,- Divinities, both thou and they, ye rule, to guard them, earth and heaven.

उतो नो अस्य कस्य चिद्दक्षस्य तव वृत्रहन्। अस्मभ्यं नृम्णमा भरास्मभ्यं नृमणस्यसे॥

Transliteration

uto no asya kasya ciddakṣasya tava vṛtrahan | asmabhyaṁ nṛmṇamā bharāsmabhyaṁ nṛmaṇasyase ||

Translation

And from whatever power of thine, O Vrtra-slayer, it may be, Bring thou to us heroic strength: thou hast a man's regard for us.

नू त आभिरभिष्टिभिस्तव शर्मञ्छतक्रतो। इन्द्र स्याम सुगोपाः शूर स्याम सुगोपाः॥

Transliteration

nū ta ābhirabhiṣṭibhistava śarmañchatakrato | indra syāma sugopāḥ śūra syāma sugopāḥ ||

Translation

In thy protection, with these aids of thine, O Lord of Hundred Powers, Indra, may we be guarded well, Hero, may we be guarded well.
