सं च त्वे जग्मुर्गिर इन्द्र पूर्वीर्वि च त्वद्यन्ति विभ्वो मनीषाः। पुरा नूनं च स्तुतय ऋषीणां पस्पृध्र इन्द्रे अध्युक्थार्का॥
Transliterationsaṁ ca tve jagmurgira indra pūrvīrvi ca tvadyanti vibhvo manīṣāḥ | purā nūnaṁ ca stutaya ṛṣīṇāṁ paspṛdhra indre adhyukthārkā ||
TranslationFULL Many songs have met in thee, O Indra, and many a noble thought from thee proceedeth. Now and of old the eulogies of sages, their holy hymns and lauds, have yearned for Indra.
English translation: Ralph T. H. Griffith, 1896.पुरुहूतो यः पुरुगूर्त ऋभ्वाँ एकः पुरुप्रशस्तो अस्ति यज्ञैः। रथो न महे शवसे युजानोऽस्माभिरिन्द्रो अनुमाद्यो भूत्॥
Transliterationpuruhūto yaḥ purugūrta ṛbhvā ekaḥ purupraśasto asti yajñaiḥ | ratho na mahe śavase yujāno'smābhirindro anumādyo bhūt ||
TranslationHe, praised of many, bold, invoked of many, alone is glorified at sacrifices. Like a car harnessed for some great achievement, Indra must be the cause of our rejoicing.
English translation: Ralph T. H. Griffith, 1896.न यं हिंसन्ति धीतयो न वाणीरिन्द्रं नक्षन्तीदभि वर्धयन्तीः। यदि स्तोतारः शतं यत्सहस्रं गृणन्ति गिर्वणसं शं तदस्मै॥
Transliterationna yaṁ hiṁsanti dhītayo na vāṇīrindraṁ nakṣantīdabhi vardhayantīḥ | yadi stotāraḥ śataṁ yatsahasraṁ gṛṇanti girvaṇasaṁ śaṁ tadasmai ||
TranslationThey make their way to Indra and exalt him, bim whom no prayers and no laudations trouble; For when a hundred or a thousand singers. laud him who loves the song their praise delights him.
English translation: Ralph T. H. Griffith, 1896.अस्मा एतद्दिव्यर्चेव मासा मिमिक्ष इन्द्रे न्ययामि सोमः। जनं न धन्वन्नभि सं यदापः सत्रा वावृधुर्हवनानि यज्ञैः॥
Transliterationasmā etaddivyarceva māsā mimikṣa indre nyayāmi somaḥ | janaṁ na dhanvannabhi saṁ yadāpaḥ satrā vāvṛdhurhavanāni yajñaiḥ ||
TranslationAs brightness mingles with the Moon in heaven, the offered Soma yearns to mix with Indra. Like water brought to men in desert places, our gifts at sacrifice have still refreshed him.

Transliterationasmā etanmahyāṅgūṣamasmā indrāya stotraṁ matibhiravāci | asadyathā mahati vṛtratūrya indro viśvāyuravitā vṛdhaśca ||
TranslationTo him this mighty eulogy, to Indra hath this our laud been uttered by the poets, That in the great encounter with the foemen, Loved of all life, Indra may guard and help us.
