आ मित्रे वरुणे वयं गीर्भिर्जुहुमो अत्रिवत्। नि बर्हिषि सदतं सोमपीतये॥

Transliteration

ā mitre varuṇe vayaṁ gīrbhirjuhumo atrivat | ni barhiṣi sadataṁ somapītaye ||

Translation

To Varuna and Mitra we offerwith songs, as Atri did. Sit on the sacred grass to drink the Soma juice.

व्रतेन स्थो ध्रुवक्षेमा धर्मणा यातयज्जना। नि बर्हिषि सदतं सोमपीतये॥

Transliteration

vratena stho dhruvakṣemā dharmaṇā yātayajjanā | ni barhiṣi sadataṁ somapītaye ||

Translation

By Ordinance and Law ye dwell in peace secure, bestirring men. Sit on the sacred grass to drink the Soma juice.

मित्रश्च नो वरुणश्च जुषेतां यज्ञमिष्टये। नि बर्हिषि सदतां सोमपीतये॥

Transliteration

mitraśca no varuṇaśca juṣetāṁ yajñamiṣṭaye | ni barhiṣi sadatāṁ somapītaye ||

Translation

May Varuna and Mitra, for our help, accept the sacrifice. Sit on the sacred grass to drink the Soma juice.
