अग्ने पावक रोचिषा मन्द्रया देव जिह्वया। आ देवान्वक्षि यक्षि च॥
Transliterationagne pāvaka rociṣā mandrayā deva jihvayā | ā devānvakṣi yakṣi ca ||
TranslationO AGNI, Holy and Divine, with splendour and thy pleasant tongue Bring hither and adore the Gods.

Transliterationtaṁ tvā ghṛtasnavīmahe citrabhāno svardṛśam | devā ā vītaye vaha ||
TranslationWe pray thee, thou who droppest oil, bright-rayed! who lookest on the Sun, Bring the Gods hither to the feast.

Transliterationvītihotraṁ tvā kave dyumantaṁ samidhīmahi | agne bṛhantamadhvare ||
TranslationWe have enkindled thee, O Sage, bright caller of the Gods to feast. O Agni, great in Sacrifice.
