तं वां रथं वयमद्या हुवेम पृथुज्रयमश्विना संगतिं गोः। यः सूर्यां वहति वन्धुरायुर्गिर्वाहसं पुरुतमं वसूयुम्॥

Transliteration

taṁ vāṁ rathaṁ vayamadyā huvema pṛthujrayamaśvinā saṁgatiṁ goḥ | yaḥ sūryāṁ vahati vandhurāyurgirvāhasaṁ purutamaṁ vasūyum ||

Translation

WE will invoke this day your car, farspreading, O Asvins, even the gathering, of the sunlight,- Car praised in hymns, most ample, rich in treasure, fitted with seats, the car that beareth Surya.

युवं श्रियमश्विना देवता तां दिवो नपाता वनथः शचीभिः। युवोर्वपुरभि पृक्षः सचन्ते वहन्ति यत्ककुहासो रथे वाम्॥

Transliteration

yuvaṁ śriyamaśvinā devatā tāṁ divo napātā vanathaḥ śacībhiḥ | yuvorvapurabhi pṛkṣaḥ sacante vahanti yatkakuhāso rathe vām ||

Translation

Asvins, ye gained that glory by your Godhead, ye Sons of Heaven, by your own might and power. Food followeth close upon your bright appearing when stately horses in your chariot draw you.

को वामद्या करते रातहव्य ऊतये वा सुतपेयाय वार्कैः। ऋतस्य वा वनुषे पूर्व्याय नमो येमानो अश्विना ववर्तत्॥

Transliteration

ko vāmadyā karate rātahavya ūtaye vā sutapeyāya vārkaiḥ | ṛtasya vā vanuṣe pūrvyāya namo yemāno aśvinā vavartat ||

Translation

Who bringeth you to-day for help with offered oblation, or with hymns to drink the juices? Who, for the sacrifice's ancient lover, turneth you hither, Asvins, offering homage?

हिरण्ययेन पुरुभू रथेनेमं यज्ञं नासत्योप यातम्। पिबाथ इन्मधुनः सोम्यस्य दधथो रत्नं विधते जनाय॥

Transliteration

hiraṇyayena purubhū rathenemaṁ yajñaṁ nāsatyopa yātam | pibātha inmadhunaḥ somyasya dadhatho ratnaṁ vidhate janāya ||

Translation

Borne on your golden car, ye omnipresent! come to this sacrifice of ours, Nasatyas. Drink of the pleasant liquor of the Soma give riches to the people who adore you.

आ नो यातं दिवो अच्छा पृथिव्या हिरण्ययेन सुवृता रथेन। मा वामन्ये नि यमन्देवयन्तः सं यद्ददे नाभिः पूर्व्या वाम्॥

Transliteration

ā no yātaṁ divo acchā pṛthivyā hiraṇyayena suvṛtā rathena | mā vāmanye ni yamandevayantaḥ saṁ yaddade nābhiḥ pūrvyā vām ||

Translation

Come hitherward to us from earth, from heaven, borne on your golden chariot rolling lightly. Suffer not other worshippers to stay you here are ye bound by earlier bonds of friendship.

Transliteration

nū no rayiṁ puruvīraṁ bṛhantaṁ dasrā mimāthāmubhayeṣvasme | naro yadvāmaśvinā stomamāvansadhastutimājamīḻhāso agman ||

Translation

Now for us both, mete out, O WonderWorkers, riches exceeding great with store of heroes, Because the men have sent you praise, O Asvins, and Ajamilhas come to the laudation.

इहेह यद्वां समना पपृक्षे सेयमस्मे सुमतिर्वाजरत्ना। उरुष्यतं जरितारं युवं ह श्रितः कामो नासत्या युवद्रिक्॥

Transliteration

iheha yadvāṁ samanā papṛkṣe seyamasme sumatirvājaratnā | uruṣyataṁ jaritāraṁ yuvaṁ ha śritaḥ kāmo nāsatyā yuvadrik ||

Translation

Whene'er I gratified you here together, your grace was given us, O ye rich in booty. Protect, ye Twain, the singer of your praises: to you, Nasatyas, is my wish directed.
