तिष्ठा हरी रथ आ युज्यमाना याहि वायुर्न नियुतो नो अच्छ। पिबास्यन्धो अभिसृष्टो अस्मे इन्द्र स्वाहा ररिमा ते मदाय॥

Transliteration

tiṣṭhā harī ratha ā yujyamānā yāhi vāyurna niyuto no accha | pibāsyandho abhisṛṣṭo asme indra svāhā rarimā te madāya ||

Translation

MOUNT the Bay Horses to thy chariot harnessed, and come to us like Vayu with his coursers. Thou, hastening to us, shalt drink the Soma. Hail, Indra. We have poured it for thy rapture.

उपाजिरा पुरुहूताय सप्ती हरी रथस्य धूर्ष्वा युनज्मि। द्रवद्यथा सम्भृतं विश्वतश्चिदुपेमं यज्ञमा वहात इन्द्रम्॥

Transliteration

upājirā puruhūtāya saptī harī rathasya dhūrṣvā yunajmi | dravadyathā sambhṛtaṁ viśvataścidupemaṁ yajñamā vahāta indram ||

Translation

For him, the God who is invoked by many, the two swift Bay Steeds to the pole I harness, That they in fleet course may bring Indra hither, e'en to this sacrifice arranged completely.

उपो नयस्व वृषणा तपुष्पोतेमव त्वं वृषभ स्वधावः। ग्रसेतामश्वा वि मुचेह शोणा दिवेदिवे सदृशीरद्धि धानाः॥

Transliteration

upo nayasva vṛṣaṇā tapuṣpotemava tvaṁ vṛṣabha svadhāvaḥ | grasetāmaśvā vi muceha śoṇā divedive sadṛśīraddhi dhānāḥ ||

Translation

Bring the strong Steeds who drink the warm libation, and, Bull of Godlike nature, be thou gracious. Let thy Steeds eat; set free thy Tawny Horses, and roasted grain like this consume thou daily.

ब्रह्मणा ते ब्रह्मयुजा युनज्मि हरी सखाया सधमाद आशू। स्थिरं रथं सुखमिन्द्राधितिष्ठन्प्रजानन्विद्वाँ उप याहि सोमम्॥

Transliteration

brahmaṇā te brahmayujā yunajmi harī sakhāyā sadhamāda āśū | sthiraṁ rathaṁ sukhamindrādhitiṣṭhanprajānanvidvā upa yāhi somam ||

Translation

Those who are yoked by prayer I harness, fleet friendly Bays who take their joy together. Mounting thy firm and easy car, O Indra, wise and all-knowing come thou to the Soma.

मा ते हरी वृषणा वीतपृष्ठा नि रीरमन्यजमानासो अन्ये। अत्यायाहि शश्वतो वयं तेऽरं सुतेभिः कृणवाम सोमैः॥

Transliteration

mā te harī vṛṣaṇā vītapṛṣṭhā ni rīramanyajamānāso anye | atyāyāhi śaśvato vayaṁ te'raṁ sutebhiḥ kṛṇavāma somaiḥ ||

Translation

No other worshippers must stay beside them thy Bays, thy vigorous and smooth-backed Coursers. Pass by them all and hasten onward hither: with Soma pressed we will prepare to feast thee.

तवायं सोमस्त्वमेह्यर्वाङ्छश्वत्तमं सुमना अस्य पाहि। अस्मिन्यज्ञे बर्हिष्या निषद्या दधिष्वेमं जठर इन्दुमिन्द्र॥

Transliteration

tavāyaṁ somastvamehyarvāṅchaśvattamaṁ sumanā asya pāhi | asminyajñe barhiṣyā niṣadyā dadhiṣvemaṁ jaṭhara indumindra ||

Translation

Thine is this Sorna: hasten to approach it. Drink thou thereof, benevolent, and cease not. Sit on the sacred grass at this our worship, and take these drops into thy belly, Indra.

स्तीर्णं ते बर्हिः सुत इन्द्र सोमः कृता धाना अत्तवे ते हरिभ्याम्। तदोकसे पुरुशाकाय वृष्णे मरुत्वते तुभ्यं राता हवींषि॥

Transliteration

stīrṇaṁ te barhiḥ suta indra somaḥ kṛtā dhānā attave te haribhyām | tadokase puruśākāya vṛṣṇe marutvate tubhyaṁ rātā havīṁṣi ||

Translation

The grass is strewn for thee, pressed is the Soma; the grain is ready for thy Bays to feed on. To thee who lovest them, the very mighty, strong, girt by Maruts, are these gifts presented.

इमं नरः पर्वतास्तुभ्यमापः समिन्द्र गोभिर्मधुमन्तमक्रन्। तस्यागत्या सुमना ऋष्व पाहि प्रजानन्विद्वान्पथ्या अनु स्वाः॥

Transliteration

imaṁ naraḥ parvatāstubhyamāpaḥ samindra gobhirmadhumantamakran | tasyāgatyā sumanā ṛṣva pāhi prajānanvidvānpathyā anu svāḥ ||

Translation

This the sweet draught, with cows, the men, the mountains, the waters, Indra, have for thee made ready. Come, drink thereof, Sublime One, friendly-minded, foreseeing, knowing well the ways thou goest.

याँ आभजो मरुत इन्द्र सोमे ये त्वामवर्धन्नभवन्गणस्ते। तेभिरेतं सजोषा वावशानोऽग्नेः पिब जिह्वया सोममिन्द्र॥

Transliteration

yā ābhajo maruta indra some ye tvāmavardhannabhavangaṇaste | tebhiretaṁ sajoṣā vāvaśāno'gneḥ piba jihvayā somamindra ||

Translation

The Maruts, they with whom thou sharedst Soma, Indra, who made thee strong and were thine army,- With these accordant, eagerly desirous drink thou this Soma with the tongue of Agni.

इन्द्र पिब स्वधया चित्सुतस्याग्नेर्वा पाहि जिह्वया यजत्र। अध्वर्योर्वा प्रयतं शक्र हस्ताद्धोतुर्वा यज्ञं हविषो जुषस्व॥

Transliteration

indra piba svadhayā citsutasyāgnervā pāhi jihvayā yajatra | adhvaryorvā prayataṁ śakra hastāddhoturvā yajñaṁ haviṣo juṣasva ||

Translation

Drink, Indra, of the juice by thine own nature, or by the tongue of Agni, O thou Holy. Accept the sacrificial gift, O Sakra, from the Adhvaryu's hand or from the Hotar's.

शुनं हुवेम मघवानमिन्द्रमस्मिन्भरे नृतमं वाजसातौ। शृण्वन्तमुग्रमूतये समत्सु घ्नन्तं वृत्राणि संजितं धनानाम्॥

Transliteration

śunaṁ huvema maghavānamindramasminbhare nṛtamaṁ vājasātau | śṛṇvantamugramūtaye samatsu ghnantaṁ vṛtrāṇi saṁjitaṁ dhanānām ||

Translation

Call we on Maghavan, auspicious Indra, best Hero in the fight where spoil is gathered, The Strong, who listens, who.gives aid in battles, who slays the Vrtras, wins and gathers riches.
