बटन, स्वाइप वा बायाँ-दायाँ तीर कुञ्जीले पृष्ठ पल्टाउनुहोस्।
सखायः सं वः सम्यञ्चमिषं स्तोमं चाग्नये। वर्षिष्ठाय क्षितीनामूर्जो नप्त्रे सहस्वते॥
लिप्यन्तरणsakhāyaḥ saṁ vaḥ samyañcamiṣaṁ stomaṁ cāgnaye | varṣiṣṭhāya kṣitīnāmūrjo naptre sahasvate ||
अनुवादOFFER to Agni, O my friends, your seemly food, your seemly praise; To him supremest o'er the folk, the Son of Strength, the mighty Lord:

लिप्यन्तरणkutrā cidyasya samṛtau raṇvā naro nṛṣadane | arhantaścidyamindhate saṁjanayanti jantavaḥ ||
अनुवादHim in whose presence, when they meet in full assembly, men rejoice; Even him whom worthy ones inflame, and living creatures bring to life.

लिप्यन्तरणsaṁ yadiṣo vanāmahe saṁ havyā mānuṣāṇām | uta dyumnasya śavasa ṛtasya raśmimā dade ||
अनुवादWhen we present to him the food and sacrificial gifts of men, He by the might of splendour grasps the holy Ordinance's rein.

लिप्यन्तरणsa smā kṛṇoti ketumā naktaṁ ciddūra ā sate | pāvako yadvanaspatīnpra smā minātyajaraḥ ||
अनुवादHe gives a signal in the night even to him who is afar, When he, the Bright, unchanged by eld, consumes the sovrans of the wood.

लिप्यन्तरणava sma yasya veṣaṇe svedaṁ pathiṣu juhvati | abhīmaha svajenyaṁ bhūmā pṛṣṭheva ruruhuḥ ||
अनुवादHe in whose service on the ways they offer up their drops of sweat, On him is their high kin have they mounted, as ridges on the earth.

लिप्यन्तरणyaṁ martyaḥ puruspṛhaṁ vidadviśvasya dhāyase | pra svādanaṁ pitūnāmastatātiṁ cidāyave ||
अनुवादWhom, sought of many, mortal man hath found to be the Stay of all; He who gives flavour to our food, the home of every man that lives.
English translation: Ralph T. H. Griffith, 1896.स हि ष्मा धन्वाक्षितं दाता न दात्या पशुः। हिरिश्मश्रुः शुचिदन्नृभुरनिभृष्टतविषिः॥
लिप्यन्तरणsa hi ṣmā dhanvākṣitaṁ dātā na dātyā paśuḥ | hiriśmaśruḥ śucidannṛbhuranibhṛṣṭataviṣiḥ ||
अनुवादEven as a herd that crops the grass he shears the field and wilderness, With flashing teeth and beard of gold, deft with his unabated might.

लिप्यन्तरणśuciḥ ṣma yasmā atrivatpra svadhitīva rīyate | suṣūrasūta mātā krāṇā yadānaśe bhagam ||
अनुवादFor him, to whom, bright as an axe he, as to Atri, hath flashed forth, Hath the well-bearing Mother borne, producing when her time is come.

लिप्यन्तरणā yaste sarpirāsute'gne śamasti dhāyase | aiṣu dyumnamuta śrava ā cittaṁ martyeṣu dhāḥ ||
अनुवादAgni to whom the oil is shed by him thou lovest to support, Bestow upon these mortals fame and splendour and intelligence.

लिप्यन्तरणiti cinmanyumadhrijastvādātamā paśuṁ dade | ādagne apṛṇato'triḥ sāsahyāddasyūniṣaḥ sāsahyānnṝn ||
अनुवादSuch zeal hath he, resistless one: he gained the cattle given by thee. Agni, may Atri overcome the Dasyus who bestow no gifts, subdue the men who give no food.
